Just run on down to Sarah’s Smash Shack, and for a reasonable fee, she will give you some dishes…and you can smash them to your heart’s content. Talk about a stress reliever! What therapy! And what a creative idea for a small business.
Sarah’s Smash Shack founders, Sarah Lavely and Ed King, opened for business in August 2008 and have begun a new recreation sensation. They cater to both individuals and groups and have a lounge space available for group events.There is even a mobile smash room available for rent that can be set up for your special events. What fun!
Sarah says that the inspiration for her smash shack business came at a very low point in her life. “I wish I could just go somewhere and break some things!” Then she realized that other people must feel the same way too. Thus the idea for Sarah’s Smash Shack was born. Great idea Sarah!

Unfortunately, Sarah’s Smash Shack closed its doors in late 2009 so Sarah could pursue other entrepreneurial opportunities. She’ll keep us posted on her next entrepreneurial adventure.
